Sometimes we just don’t feel like going to the gym — especially after a long day. We’re tired, lazy, unmotivated, and tempted to just hit Netflix. But every time we actually go, we leave feeling stronger, lighter, and never once regret it.

Intimacy works the same way. It shouldn’t come from pressure or the need to please someone else. It should come from choosing something that we know will leave us feeling good — connected, fulfilled, grounded.

That’s a conscious habit we build for ourself. Choosing what nourishes us, even on the days we hesitate, always makes life better.
